After this time, it should be cleaned with water, any remaining blood removed, and reinserted. Insertion: Always handle the Eureka Cup Classic with clean hands. Before and after each cycle, remember to sterilize the Eureka Cup Classic. Follow the steps: For right-handed users, hold the Eureka Cup Classic by its crown between the index finger and thumb of your left hand. With the pad of your index finger of your right hand, bend the Eureka Cup from any of its four tabs to the deepest point. It will collapse. Remove your index finger without unfolding it, and hold the Eureka Cup Classic with your right hand. Find the most comfortable position for inserting it into the vagina. Separate your vaginal lips with your left hand and insert the Eureka Cup Classic until it is completely inside your vagina (except for the tube). When you remove your fingers, the Eureka Cup Classic will unfold inside your vagina. To help this happen, you can rotate the Eureka Cup until you feel it unfold successfully. You can check by circling the Eureka Cup Classic with your finger. Using your fingers, make sure the Eureka Cup Classic menstrual cup is completely upright. The Eureka Cup Classic will be sealed and ready to enjoy. Extraction: To fully remove the Eureka Cup Classic, grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) with two fingers and pull it out. Store in a cool, dry place, protected from sunlight. Maintenance and Cleaning: During menstruation, wash the Eureka Cup Classic with warm water and mild soap. Once your period is over, sterilize the Eureka Cup Classic and repeat this procedure just before using it again for your next period.
