The NanoCluster is an ultra-mini cluster board with seven onboard SOM slots, interconnected by a RISC-V-based Gigabit switch, supporting USB-C PD and expandable PoE. It also provides independent UART and power control, making it an ideal choice for HomeLab users getting started with distributed computing, Kubernetes and Docker practices, and edge computing. NanoCluster is compatible with for SiPEED Technology's Longan Module 3H (4 x Cortex-A53) and M4N (4 x Cortex-A55 + NPU), as well as the for Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 (4 x Cortex-A72) and Compute Module 5 (4 x Cortex-A76). Users can freely choose core modules based on performance requirements and budget, or mix and match core modules with different architectures to build a highly customized computing cluster. NanoCluster utilizes an open System-on-Module (SOM) interface standard, supporting not only official core modules but also user-designed adapter boards for custom core modules or other third-party SOM solutions, greatly enhancing the platform's flexibility.
