It is designed with lower impedance change, which can improve classification performance and enhance the dynamic range. This prescaler divides the input frequency by the modulus of 128 or 256, and the output level is 1.6V at the peak-to-peak value at the ECL level. The divider ratio can be set to 64, 128, or 256 through a two-digit dialing switch or external interface. It comes with a complete Phase Locked Loop synthesizer circuit that incorporates the MB87006A Phase Locked Loop synthesizer IC.
