Instant coffee substitute chife 150 g (Coffee)

Dietary preparation made from roasted cereals (barley, malt and rye) and chicory with which to obtain a nutritious, digestive drink with a taste similar to coffee. This is why it is a perfect substitute and even more so if we consider that it is not exciting for the nervous system, since there is no caffeine among its components. Malt is obtained from barley by making it germinate and then drying it. It contains a large amount of enzymes (diastases) that promote digestion. On the other hand, roasted chicory has been used since ancient times as a substitute for coffee, as it has a very similar aroma. In addition, its bitter principles, intibin and intulin, are of recognized tonic and stomach action, favoring gastric and liver function. With the soluble extract of Chife cereals, you have a food supplement that is easy to prepare because it is soluble in water or milk. One or two teaspoons per cup of hot water or milk is recommended. Once opened, keep in a cool, dry place.
