Nut Grass (Cyperus Rotundus) is a grass-like, colonial, perennial herb in the Cyperaceae family. It can grow up to 140 cm in height, the stem is usually about 10-50 cm tall, vernicose and triangular in cross-section. The leaves are dark green and glossy. They are three-ranked and can be about 50 cm long and 5-12 cm broad. The flowers are bisexual, about 2-8” long, with 3 stamens.
