Walk around the target. 2. While surrounding the target, continue to sweep the search coil over the target. 3. Sweep once every 30° or 40°. If the alarm does not change when the target is delineated and the Target-ID value remains the same, the identification of the target can be determined; if the alarm or Target-ID value changes when the target is circled, there may be multiple targets or objects with irregular shapes . Identification Mode: After using recognition mode to identify the target, press and hold the PINPOINT button to identify the exact location of the target. This technique can generate more information about the shape and size of the target, and it can also find its exact location for easy extraction. Find out as follows: 1. Place the search coil just off the ground and on the side of the target. 2. Now slowly move the search coil on the target; you can find it by sound. The target is located directly below the loudest. Narrow Down: 1. To further narrow the response range, position the center of the search coil near the center of the response pattern, but not directly above the center. 2. Release the PINPOINT button. 3. Press and hold the PINPOINT button again. 4. Repeat this reduction procedure to further reduce the detection range. Note: The depth indication is not accurate after zooming out. Precise Positioning in Discrimination Mode: 1. Sweep the target in narrow-edge mode. 2. Visually inspect the location on the ground where the "beep" sound occurs. 3. Move 90° to the target side. 4. Scan the search coil in the same area, at 90° to the first scan pattern. 5. Use "X" to pinpoint the target position.
