Made of premium copper material, it offers excellent thermal conductivity and heat resistance. The special copper head design is shaped to resemble an ox horn. The gun-style design concentrates heat at the front while providing effective heat dissipation at the rear to help prevent hand burns. Ceramic insulation ensures efficient heat retention, making the unit lightweight, sturdy, and durable. Suitable for use on calves and lambs aged 15 to 70 days. Preheat the dehorner for 10–15 minutes, then disconnect the power. 2. Have two people secure the calf to prevent head movement. 3. Locate the bean-shaped horn bud area and gently apply the preheated dehorner to the horn until a scab forms and the horn base changes color (approximately 3 to 5 seconds). 4. After the procedure, protect the treated area to avoid mechanical irritation or skin friction. If the skin is damaged, use electrocautery to control bleeding.
