To fill the grinder, simply unscrew the metal top and remove the wooden lid, then fill with your favorite sea,Himalayan, Celtic salt or black pepper corn. Screw in the wooden top cover to keep out moisture and keep the spices in the grinder fresh for a long time without affecting the taste or smell of the spices. EASY IDENTIFICATION: The "S" and "P" on the knurled knobs on the wood itself towards the bottom and top help you identify the different spices you put into the grinder.
