This large expanding ring mandrel for lathes fits ring sizes 7 to 14. The set also includes an Hex wrench for expanding and contracting the mandrel. HIGH QUALITY STEEL: Our ring expansion mandrels are made of carbon structural steel, which is stronger and less prone to deformation. EASY TO USE: This expanding mandrel can be easily used on lathes. Each ring size has extra space to accommodate the tape so the inside of the ring 't get scratched. For proper functionality, apply one or two coats of tape over the steps you will be using. This helps protect the inside of your ring. Features: Rotating the ring on a lathe will make making the ring 10 times easier than using a rotary tool or other methods. You can easily swap out any size and get a snug fit in seconds. Precision: Expanding mandrels provide a high level of precision when making rings. Designed for use on lathes. Also suitable for drill chucks.
