The RDK IMU module is implemented using the high-performance 6-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) BMI088 launched by for Bosch Sensortec, which includes a three-axis gyroscope and a three-axis accelerometer, both with 16-bit accuracy. BM1088 is designed for applications that require high precision and vibration resistance, especially for use in strong vibration environments such as drones and robots. BMI088 has an extended range of ±24g acceleration and ±2000°/s angular velocity. BM1088 has excellent temperature drift performance (low TCO/TCS), is factory calibrated, and can achieve high-stability attitude and motion perception. The module uses the I2C interface to connect to the RDK X5.
