Benefits of 5 micron, 9-3/4 inch wound sediment filter cartridges: Economical and durable water filtration solution. Robust and resistant mesh construction—no fiber shedding into the water. High temperature resistance. Made from high-quality wound polypropylene for efficient removal of fine contaminants. Ideal for prefiltration before activated carbon or ultrafiltration systems. Suitable for use in residential water treatment, rainwater filtration for irrigation, laundry, or sanitary applications. Compatible with standard single or dual transparent filter housings with 3/4 inch brass fittings, sized for 9-3/4 or 10 inch cartridges. These coiled filter cartridges should be replaced annually. For optimal performance, use in combination with a higher micron prefilter (e.g., 20 microns) to extend service life.
