This advanced water filter reduces common contaminants in tap water, such as lead, nitrates, and mercury, ensuring your water is safe and tastes great. Designed for optimal hydration, the PureSource Ultra II uses a carbon-based water filter to significantly reduce the taste of chlorine. This easy-to-install water filter ensures every sip is refreshing and delicious, making it easier for you to keep your family hydrated and healthy. Installation is a breeze with the push-and-twist method. Simply twist the old water filter 90 counterclockwise and pull it out. Insert the new water filter horizontally, push it in until it is secure, and then twist it 90 to the right until it clicks to secure it in place. Track the status of your water filter with your refrigerator's reminder light. To reset, press and hold the water filter button on the dispenser controller for 3 seconds until the light turns from red to green, indicating a successful reset. Frigidaire not only ensures sustainability, but also guarantees that impurities are removed, giving you clean and safe drinking water straight from your refrigerator.
